How to Vote

To vote in New Hampshire, residents must register by the deadline of October 25, 2026, either online through the state's voter portal, by mail, or in person at their local town or city clerk's office. On Election Day, polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM; voters must present a valid photo ID such as a driver's license, passport, or military ID, or sign a challenged voter affidavit if they lack ID. Early voting is not offered in New Hampshire, but absentee ballots are available to eligible voters who request them by November 1, 2026, and must be received by 5:00 PM on Election Day.
