How to Vote

Voters in New Hampshire must be registered to vote by October 25, 2028, to participate in the general election. Registration can be completed online through the New Hampshire Secretary of State's website, by mail, or in person at local clerk's offices. On Election Day, November 7, 2028, voters will cast ballots at their assigned polling places; valid photo ID is required, but voters without ID may sign an affidavit and vote a regular ballot. Absentee ballots are available to all voters without excuse and must be requested by November 4, 2028, and returned by 5 p.m. on Election Day.
